Check out the pictures from our Thanksgiving Potluck for our HAPI-YEP Students! We are thankful for the opportunity to work with our youth and provide them with a space where they can grow and develop to become HAPPY, HEALTHY and SUCCESSFUL!
The HAPI-YEP Word of the Day is PUGNACIOUS. The first 2 students to find Veejay and tell him what it means will get an extra stamp! Hint: He’ll be on campus today for HAPI-YEP Lunchtime!
Some of our HAPI-YEP students were invited to facilitate an instant recess activity during Magnolia High School’s Great American Smoke-out Week. The students facilitated an activity called HAPI-BALL that they came up with themselves! Check out our students doing an introductory video and the pictures of the other students enjoying the game and promoting a healthy active lifestyle! Great job to our HAPI-YEP students and those who participated!
One of our focus at HAP-YEP is encourage our youth to have a healthy lifestyle. By educating our youth about different health issues in community, we are able help them take control of their health. Check out the presentation we used at our program below and see how you can use these as a resource to help the youth you work with!
