API Heritage Month- Filipino American History Workshop

FILIPINO AMERICAN WORKSHOP

As part of Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month, students were given the opportunity to learn more about the Philippines and the Filipino-American experience.  Topics of discussion included history, popular culture, famous individuals, rituals and practices, etc.  Through Jeopardy, students were quizzed and tested on the newly learned information.  A friendly competition allowed students to challenge one another while having fun learning about new cultures.
