Fitness 101- PVC Pipes

PVC pipes are the ideal items to teach the students how to exercise without barbells. PVC pipes are both incredibly helpful in teaching technique and cost effective when working with multiple students. In order for the students to solidify a better understanding of their body mechanics, learning fundamental technique is important. PVC pipes are light enough in weight to give students no extra resistance but still offer barbell technique. Typical barbells weigh anywhere between 44lbs to 45lbs without extra weighted plates. Adding this much resistance to an untrained student can increase the risk of injury. PVC pipes will help prepare students better than weight because technique and form are the most important aspect of resistance exercise.
